Many
people grab food or snacks instead of fluids. Keep water handy and you
will be more likely to hydrate properly throughout the day. I advise
clients to keep to a schedule for eating, and drink water regularly-
eliminating the guesswork.
To help keep to a
regular eating schedule, keep an apple and some almonds with you so
that you are never pinched for a beneficial snack. Being prepared will
eliminate wasted time searching for good food in unfamiliar territory.
Keep
your eating plan simple. Choose foods that are nutritious, simple to
prepare, keep well, and pack easily. Your food should fuel your day,
not rule your day! This applies to your kid’s meals as well.
